Encana has advised that, based on the forecasted weather and sea-state conditions, they will now be removing all remaining personnel at their Deep Panuke Production Field Centre today. ExxonMobil has advised that they will now be removing all personnel at the Sable Offshore Energy Facilities based on the forecasted weather and sea-state conditions related to Hurricane Dorian. Encana has advised that, based on the forecasted weather and sea-state conditions at their Deep Panuke Production Field Centre, they will begin removing non-essential personnel today. Encana will continue to monitor forecasted conditions to determine if further precautionary down-staffing is required.  Media Contact:

ExxonMobil has advised that they will begin removing non-essential personnel at the Sable Offshore Energy Facilities today based on the forecasted weather and sea-state conditions related to Hurricane Dorian. ExxonMobil will continue to monitor forecasted conditions to determine if further precautionary down-staffing is required.

Our Chief Safety Officer and/or Chief Conservation Officer are responsible for approving or declining Regulatory Query proposals, taking into consideration input provided by our technical team.   Generally speaking, before allowing an alternate approach to regulatory compliance, the Chief Safety Officer and/or Chief Conservation Officer must be convinced that the proposed approach provides a level of safety, environmental protection and conservation equivalent to that provided in regulation.
