Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board Announces Results of Call For Bids NS18-3

(Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) – The Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board’s (CNSOPB) Call for Bids NS18-3 has resulted in no bids. The parcels that made up Call for Bids NS18-3 are no longer up for bid and will remain as Crown land.

Call for Bids NS18-3 was issued on December 10, 2018 for two industry-nominated parcels that are located on the Scotian Shelf, within the Sable Subbasin. An opportunity to submit written comments specific to the areas included in Call for Bids NS18-3 was provided from December 10, 2018 to February 8, 2019. A summary of comments received can be found at www.callforbids.ca.

The Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board is the independent joint agency of the Governments of Canada and Nova Scotia responsible for the regulation of petroleum activities and resources offshore Canada-Nova Scotia.
