Physical and cyber security is an integral part of overall safety in all offshore operations. As part of the Government of Canada’s National Critical Infrastructure Program, we are responsible for ensuring that operators have comprehensive security plans, procedures and arrangements in place to protect the safety of workers and integrity of installations while operating in the Canada-Nova Scotia offshore area. Through our participation in government and industry security forums, we ensure that risks to cyber and physical security in the offshore area is continuously and closely monitored and appropriate measures are in place to safeguard against security threats.
