CALL FOR BIDS 2016
The Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOPB) has issued Call for Bids NS16-1 for Exploration Licences consisting of six (6) parcels. Bids must be received by October 27th, 2016 before 4:00 p.m. Atlantic Time.

Data Management Centre
The Data Management Centre is designed to provide registered users with access to non-confidential petroleum exploration and production data from offshore Nova Scotia, subject to certain conditions.

Search Licences

There are three types of licences: exploration, significant discovery and production. All bids for exploration licences are evaluated on the basis of total work expenditures or, in other words, the amount of money proposed for exploration on the land parcel during period one of the term. Work expenditure bids are refundable based on the amount of money a company spends on exploration.
