Recently we have made a few organizational changes at the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board due to upcoming retirements.
- Keith Landra has been appointed as Chief Safety Officer, replacing Dave Scratch who is retiring at the end of March;
- Carl Makrides has been promoted to Director, Resources responsible for the resource management aspects of the Board’s mandate;
- Michael McPhee has assumed the oversight of the rights management aspect of our mandate. His job title is now Secretary, General Counsel & Director, Regulatory Policy/Rights Management. Christine Bonnell-Eisnor, Colleen Menard and Nichole Bush, now report to Mr. McPhee; and
- Steve Bigelow, formally Director, Resources and Rights will be retiring at the end of this year. Mr. Bigelow currently retains his appointment as Chief Conservation Officer, and has taken on an Executive Advisor role assisting the organization with the transition of his Director level responsibilities to Carl Makrides and Mike McPhee.
