The following maps provide licensing and well information and are updated on a regular basis. The maps reference datum is NAD27.

Coordinate Files

Although these are not legal descriptions of the lands and the Board cannot be held responsible for any errors, an effort has been made to ensure that these values are accurate. The map reference datum is NAD27. The first and last coordinate point is the same for each block.

There are 3 areas where the lines have been approximated and are not legally derived.

  1. Where the blocks follow the shore line of Cape Breton Island;
  2. Where George's Bank Permits intersect the International Border;
  3. Where Permits intersect the Provincial and France borders.
